Ireland 100: An Old Song Re-sung was a live concert produced by RTÉ and South Wind Blows. It commemorated a hundred years of Irish culture, heritage and history through songs, stories and dance. The main image for this event featured a songbird which represented Irish music, celebration and performance. The bird showed a Celtic pattern to link it to Ireland. The print style of the illustration and the letterpress typography was used as a call back to printing methods used 100 years ago. The gold colour represented the colour of the symbol of Ireland – the harp.
